THE EMPOWERMENT FUND 2019

Herren Project is on a mission to help people break free from the chains of addiction to live happier, healthier lives.

With 200 people dying every single day from a drug overdose, it’s crucial that individuals looking for help get the support they need when they need it. It is truly a matter of life or death.

GIVE THE GIFT OF RECOVERY

Thanks to donors like you, Herren Project is able to offer free treatment placement services to those ready for help and walk with them on the path to recovery. We’re there to be a helping hand, a listening ear. We’re able to offer brave individuals financial assistance and recovery coaching to make their transition to recovery as easy as possible. In addition, we can offer support to their families and loved ones to help them on their own journeys. Your donations also allow us to bring our message to schools and communities to help prevent the misuse of substances before it even starts. By teaching mindfulness and self-care, individuals are better equipped to handle life’s challenges without having to rely on drugs or alcohol.

WHO WE ARE

Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008.

As a member of the Herren family of brands, Herren Project represents one step in the journey to recovery. Chris Herren also shares his own journey as a national public speaker through Herren Talks and helps others learn skills to stay substance-free through his residential holistic health and wellness program, Herren Wellness.
