I was lucky. I realized that alcohol was a slippery slope that kept getting steeper. Rather than continually clawing my way back up, I got off the slope completely. I was lucky. I had the support I needed to make a real change and leave it behind. Not everyone is that lucky. Not everyone has that support. So, I’ve joined Team Herren Project to raise money and awareness for drug and alcohol addiction recovery and prevention.
