I learned what addiction was at an early age, dealt with addiction in my household and struggled with the after effects of living in chaos. I grew up to live a life helping others overcome that and have lived a clean and sober lifestyle as a result. I am passionate about substance abuse prevention and treatment and HERREN PROJECT is an organization I can stand behind 100%. That is why I am asking for your help with this cause!
On May 16, 2022 the unimaginable happened. My cousin, Christopher Cahill, lost his battle with substance use disorder. He left behind two loving parents, a supportive girlfriend and an absolutely precious two year old son. Nothing will bring Christopher back but I am running the 2023 Providence Half Marathon to honor Chris’s life and to raise funds for an organization that brings hope to situations that feel utterly hopeless. Help me as I remember Christopher and all of those who have battled addiction, and those continuing their fight. There is hope. There is healing.
I invite you to join me in honoring Christopher’s memory as we spread awareness and offer hope to those struggling with addiction.
