I run and raise money for this wonderful organization in honor of my sister, Jamie, and my best friend, Mike. Both were amazing people that could light up a room with their smile or laugh and both are severely missed by all.
Since 2018, I’ve been lucky enough to run 4 marathons; Cape Cod (‘18), Berlin (‘19) , Chicago (‘21) and New York (‘21). Two (Berlin and New York) were directly associated with The Herren Project but all were run in honor of Mike and Jamie. All told, with ridiculous amounts of help from family and friends, I’ve been able to raise thousands of dollars for an amazing organization that only wants to help others. With London, my goal is to continue raising the bar
I’ve run to honor my friend and sister, who have passed, but I also run for my kids who are here to see that anything is possible if you work hard and put your mind to it. I run because I’m lucky enough to be able to do so. I run to, hopefully, show my kids (someday) that there are some things bigger than “I” or “me.”
