Liam’s Anchor was established in order to perpetuate his lifelong dedication to helping others. The Cunningham Family has teamed up with the Herren Project to aid their mission to “support, inspire, and empower those affected by substance use disorder”.
How Liam's Anchor Was Born
In 2014, Liam and his friend Mark started a small apparel company, using the anchor with hooks in the shape of the Cape that Liam created. Liam’s professional life reflected his kind and caring nature in that he worked for non-profit organizations that were dedicated to helping those less fortunate than himself. He was passionate about play and accessibility of sporting equipment for disadvantaged children (Good Sports), clean, warm clothing and school supplies for children in need in Boston (Cradles to Crayons), and opportunities for the homeless (volunteer writer for Spare Change Newspaper). He and Mark gave partial proceeds from their sales to the Veterans of Cape Cod.
It is our hope that by raising funds for the Herren Project, we will be honoring his spirit and carrying on his legacy of helping others.
