Starting March 4th, I’ll be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours to help raise awareness for mental illness, addiction, and support Herren Project. In 2019 I was broken, hopeless and depressed caught in trenches of addiction. I couldn’t see a way out. With the gift of desperation I reached out to The Herren Project and they helped me to get into treatment. It has been a long road but I am now over 20 months sober and I want to take on this physical and mental challenge to show anyone suffering that it is possible to recover and there is always light in the darkest moments.
