One of the biggest challenges that people struggling with addiction and their families face is the stigma associated with this disease. The fear of judgement and lack of understanding from others makes this disease that much more difficult to overcome. People are hesitant to seek help or speak out about their struggles and this perpetuates the cycle of addiction. Thus often times leaving the person and their families feeling isolated and alone in this battle.
By raising awareness and donating to this organization, we are helping to spread the word that there is nothing to be ashamed of. As a community, we understand the pain and suffering associated with this disease and we are here to offer our unconditional love and support to anyone who needs it, judgement free.

My brother was a proponent of helping others, of forgiveness, of understanding, of acceptance, of love... he was so many things and could have been so many more, but his legacy of hope and humanity continues to live on in each of us.
