Running Across America to raise funding & awareness for mental health and addiction recovery.

Running Home is a 2,000-mile run from Denver to the Lincoln Memorial to raise critical funding and awareness for mental health and addiction recovery.

How You Can Support Collin

Every mile is for the people still rebuilding. Every dollar supports Herren Project, a national nonprofit providing free resources and support for prevention, recovery, and resilience for individuals, families, and communities impacted by addiction.

The goal is $100,000. The work is 2,000 miles.

Become a Sponsor

Sponsorship dollars cover what it takes to physically get there: fuel for the support van, food for the runner and crew, ice, recovery supplies, and lodging across 10 states. Sponsors are the reason every donated dollar can flow straight to the cause. The net proceeds from sponsorships following the event will fund the work of Herren Project.

Donate to the Cause

100% of donations go directly to the Herren Project. Your gift funds recovery scholarships, family recovery programs, and Herren Project Clubs in 275 schools nationwide. This is the reason for the run.

The Team

Who is Herren Project

Herren Project is the sole charity partner of Running Home. Founded by Chris Herren, a former NBA player and person in long-term recovery, Herren Project has provided free resources and support for prevention, recovery, and resilience to individuals, families, and communities impacted by addiction since 2011. Every dollar donated supports Herren Project programs.

Chris Herren's personal recovery story has inspired Collin and countless individuals and families. 100% of the donations and net proceeds of the event will be given back to the gift of recovery to help others find hope, healing, and support.

It's For Someone Else

Running Home is what it looks like when the work stops being about me and starts being about the next person who needs to believe their rebuild is real.

“No records. No race. No finish line. Just a way to use what I’ve spent my whole life learning to actually help someone.” Collin Chartier
