Since 2011, Herren Project has provided life-saving support to individuals living with substance use disorder. We help people navigate the intricate treatment placement process and ensure they get into the right treatment center quickly, easily, and affordably. In addition, we also offer recovery housing scholarships and recovery coaching to support people on their journey.

Your donations fund these programs and more!

We offer support to family members and loved ones affected by the disease of addiction through family consultations and online support groups. To help prevent the misuse of substances, we bring effective, holistic prevention programs to schools and communities. We also organize various community initiatives to raise awareness of substance use disorder and empower those affected by it.

GIVE THE GIFT OF RECOVERY

Your generosity will help individuals and families get the support they need, prevent the misuse of substances and empower people to live their healthiest, happiest lives.

WHO WE ARE

Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008.

As a member of the Herren family of brands, Herren Project represents one step in the journey to recovery. Chris Herren also shares his own journey as a national public speaker through Herren Talks and helps others learn skills to stay substance-free through his residential holistic health and wellness program, Herren Wellness.
